NYC Comedy Picks for Week of March 7, 2016

NYC Comedy Picks for Monday 3/7/16

NYC Comedy Picks for Sunday 3/13/16

The Improvised Shakespeare Company

Genius improvisors from Chicago—including ISC founder Blaine Swen—delivering one of the funniest shows you'll ever see by making up a play on the spot using the language and themes of the Bard. This is the finest improv troupe in the world, and one of the best comedy shows of any kind, anywhere. Tonight is the start of a three-night NYC run, with every show on every evening utterly different from the last. As I write this, tonight's 7:00 pm show is sold out, but there are still tickets for the 9:30 pm show here (use discount code OPHELIA). Plus you can even get into the sold-out shows if you arrive early and are okay with sitting on stairs (with tickets discounted to $20) instead of theatre seats. This is a rare opportunity to enjoy the breathtakingly skilled Improvised Shakespeare Company (7:00 pm & 9:30 pm, $25 using discount code OTHELLO or $20 if you opt to sit on stairs, Theatre 80 St. Marks at 80 St. Marks Place off First Avenue)
